Just how DO you go about creating a perfect smoky eye look? Don’t know about you girlfriends, but we have trouble with this… There is nothing sexier than a classic Smokey eye look. Here are steps to follow to create this pretty look in a nice visual and text format.
Steps to create perfect smoky eye
Step 1- Prep your eyes
Always use a base of some kind. If you don’t have a base, then use a bit of foundation. It will work in a pinch.
Step 2- Use liner
Line top and bottom rims of your eye with an black or dark colored eye pencil. Easier said than done we know, but try and keep it close to the lash line as you can.
Step 3- Add the dark shadow
Use a brush or qtip, smudge and soften the line you just added and then fill in with the dark shadow over the penciled area.
Step 4- Final touch
Around the outer corner of your eyelids apply a lighter or neutral shade of shadow. Blend, Blend and Blend in a circular motion. After add mascara to complete the look!
Step 5- The clean up
Remove any fall out that might exist! Carful on the smudges and use some more foundation if you need to
