I have been here only a short time, and have already met someone who has quickly become a dear friend!  

I met a great friend a few years ago on GFS. We were to meet for coffee for the first time and I got a flat tire - she came and helped me remove my tire and take the flat to get fixed!! So glad I met such a great person for my very first experience on GFS! :) 

I love this website! I have met some really great girls that I expect to have in my life for a very long time!  

I signed up 1month ago and already met up with a few people. Nice site and I hope to find more new friends soon. 

I joined 3 years ago and I've had some good connections with people :)  

I was having a hard time making friends once all my college friends moved away and I had felt like I tried everything. I went out a lot, tried meet ups, etc. but nothing was sticking. I remember joking with my mom one day how I wished there was site like a dating website, but for meeting female friends. I decided to randomly google it and I found girlfriend social! It took some time (so don't give up!) but I finally met some ladies who clicked with me and we had so many of the same interests. One became one of my best friends and I remained close with my other girlfriends until they moved away. We still keep up with one another, but I'm so glad this site exists. 

I must say this is a great site to get to meet very nice ladies and I have had learning enlightening experiences. I met some wonderful people and had a great click with a local lady who is a wonderful friend and we have exchanged many texts and had some one on ones. We also exchanged Christmas cards and I am looking forward to our friendship growing. I hope to make many more wonderful friends here since everyone can always make more friends. I also met a long distant texting pal who I enjoy "chatting" with. 

I've been using GFS for about a year now, and I absolutely love it! I have made a few friends from this website and I am so happy to have them a part of my life! 

I've been on other sites where many ladies wanted to meet or chat just with ladies and would request "ladies only" to respond but they were still bothered by men. Well, this site is the perfect solution to that as it concentrates only on ladies finding other ladies for friends. Too busy to meet up in person? This site is still a great place to hang out in the forums with other ladies. In person or for chat friends this is a great site for gals. 

It takes a little time, but so far I am hopeful. I got to meet a very nice young woman for coffee, and I've messaged and texted with two others. There hasn't been a 'click' yet, but I give so much credit to the mindset behind this site. It's wonderful, easy to navigate, and given time and a little effort you can meet some truly wonderful ladies here.  

I joined 4 years ago and found 3 of my best friends on this site. This is a great way for women to connect with each other:) 

I joined this site three years ago and didn't have any luck connecting with anyone. So I gave up and stop getting on here. So last month this website came back to mind. And I wanted to try again, I really want a best friend that I can connect with. So one day after making a new account, I made a friend the next day. And we hit it off right away, and now we are very close. We stay in different states but we talk everyday and video chat. We are making plans to visit each other soon. So thanks to this site I've made a good friend and will be my best friend soon. Wonderful website please join. 

I met a lovely lady from GFS more than a year ago and at first it was a slow start to find what exactly it was that we had in common and what would help us become long term friends. But through her eldest daughter (who is also a member of GFS) we became much closer friends and now meet up for meals and drinks and tons of laughter!! Over a year later, and i now concider her my bestie, she's always great at lifting me up when i feel blue and showing me that i am appreciated and liked. I'm very fortunate to have met such an A class special friend as her. Thank you GFS for helping to bring us together! x 

I wasn’t very confident that I would meet a girlfriend when I got on this site. I not only met a girlfriend but she is the sister and daughter I never had. We have been getting together regularly and we have plans to travel when the covid is no longer causing restrictions. We both prayed to meet someone special and our prayer was answered. She is truly a blessing.  

GFS can be a great tool to meet a best friend or close circle of friends, if the individual ladies re will to put in the time and energy. I met my best friend here. We have been friends for a little over five years now and I would not change it for the world. I am looking forward to make maybe another close friend.  

I'm so glad I joined GFS although some ladies do not response to your requests in the beginning. I stayed on the site and now meet up with three lovely ladies. We meet up a once a month for a coffee or a meal and now we all enjoy our new social life. It is nice to know you can text someone and they want to respond. 

I have only been on this site for a couple days n have met(chatted) with a couple really nice ladies, hopefully we can become really good friends and hangout someday, thank you!! 

I joined this site a while back and I am now just getting back into it. It's great to see improvements and great new changes to the website. This website is great for helping meet new people and break the ice!

i joined GS from a couple years ago, i did in fact meet two people on here in person,one of them i didn't click with. but the other one i remain good friends with and we clicked straight away, we had more in common then i thought so it worked out so well for me.

My name is Erica I'm a mom of a 2 year old son and I can honestly say I'm so happy I joined this site cause I have talked and met up with some awesome girls :-)  

Interestingly it didn't take long at all for me to be matched with a super, kind warm hearted woman. We are such close friends now that thinking back to our first meeting ever feels like a lifetime ago. We get together with and without our SOs she lives just one city over from me that makes it easy to visit and when we can't see each other we text lots of love. 

I met an awesome girlfriend on here about three years ago! We have became besties ;). Thank you Girlfriend Social! I am back on here in hopes of finding another good friend (one more couldn't hurt lol). 

I did a web search on "platonic friendships" and this site was in the search engine. I ended up meeting my best friend on here! We've been friends for almost a decade now! We are very close, almost like sisters! I couldn't have asked for someone better in my life than her. I've come back here from time to time, but I've realized that a lot of the profiles are dead profiles because no one logs in anymore. Which is why I'm going to delete my account. One life-long friend I've made here, and she is the best thing that has happened to me on here since I joined. I joined on here during a really rough patch in life, was not expecting anything to come of it. But we had both been on here at the right time, we were brought together for a reason. I couldn't have imagined that I'd meet someone who is exactly the same as me, but so drastically different from me. I couldn't imagine my life without my best friend/sister in it.
