Usually, it's a lot more difficult for me to get along with women and find real friends than it's been since I joined this site. We've already got 4 or 5 people and we met up at Panera yesterday. Really cool.
I met a great friend a few years ago on GFS. We were to meet for coffee for the first time and I got a flat tire - she came and helped me remove my tire and take the flat to get fixed!! So glad I met such a great person for my very first experience on GFS! :)
I love girlfriend social. I met 2 wonderful ladies on here and after 2 years they are really really close friends still..... Actually all 3 of us are friends. One actually became my roommate lol. Can't rave about this site enough! Good luck "friending".
I was new to the state and knew not a single soul so I joined this site. I have met two people on here. The first one, we didn’t really mesh. But the second one I met in February has become my closest friend! We do a lot together. So it’s been great. I got back on here just a couple days ago after not being on in a really long time to maybe find a couple more friends. Great site!

I did a web search on "platonic friendships" and this site was in the search engine.
I ended up meeting my best friend on here! We've been friends for almost a decade now! We are very close, almost like sisters! I couldn't have asked for someone better in my life than her.
I've come back here from time to time, but I've realized that a lot of the profiles are dead profiles because no one logs in anymore. Which is why I'm going to delete my account.
One life-long friend I've made here, and she is the best thing that has happened to me on here since I joined. I joined on here during a really rough patch in life, was not expecting anything to come of it. But we had both been on here at the right time, we were brought together for a reason. I couldn't have imagined that I'd meet someone who is exactly the same as me, but so drastically different from me. I couldn't imagine my life without my best friend/sister in it.
I want to thank GFS for having an site where we can come together to discuss Love,family, problems and topics we have opinions on. I have met a few women and shared good times. All thanks to GFS!

I joined GFS in hopes of finding my "bestie"/ "soul sister" type of lady and this site led me straight to her! I'm so happy I joined - I love this girl to the moon and back. We share so much in common, and both were looking for a real connection, a real friendship, and we found it. Now I'm a bridesmaid in her wedding! I've found a life-long friend.

I was so very nervous about joining GFS but I am so glad I plucked up courage and took the plunge. I have had nothing but positive reactions from everyone I have chatted with and hope that I will make many new friends that will last a lifetime.

First off i am transgender and only about a year ago decided to quit worrying what others thought and be myself. So as a young child i did not get to have a group of girlfreinds or a girl bff. So having some other women to hang out with, text or whatever while just being me means more than i can say. It has been a dream to have that connection and trust and i have met two really great women on this site and i am thankful to girlfreind social for making it possible. :) Thank you!! <3
I must say this is a great site to get to meet very nice ladies and I have had learning enlightening experiences. I met some wonderful people and had a great click with a local lady who is a wonderful friend and we have exchanged many texts and had some one on ones. We also exchanged Christmas cards and I am looking forward to our friendship growing. I hope to make many more wonderful friends here since everyone can always make more friends.

I've used this site over the last three or four years and met ten people or so. Some of them didn't always fit as friends, but all were wonderful people. I have yet to meet someone whom I regretted meeting. Sadly, the best ones (two of them) moved out of state. I'm still looking, though! Definitely this site does its job.
I was having a hard time making friends once all my college friends moved away and I had felt like I tried everything. I went out a lot, tried meet ups, etc. but nothing was sticking. I remember joking with my mom one day how I wished there was site like a dating website, but for meeting female friends. I decided to randomly google it and I found girlfriend social! It took some time (so don't give up!) but I finally met some ladies who clicked with me and we had so many of the same interests. One became one of my best friends and I remained close with my other girlfriends until they moved away. We still keep up with one another, but I'm so glad this site exists.
I went to school for 7 years and was so busy with work and academics that I didn't make any friends post High School. So, I signed up for GFS. I didn't think I would meet anyone who was serious enough to build a friendship, but I was very wrong. Just after a few months on the site, I found two very good friends. I am very happy to have utilized this friend-making source!

I don't have a lot of confidence in going to meet new people and nowadays you can't just go up to someone and say 'Hi would you like to be friends and hang out?' you get strange looks, already I've had some great people to chat with, who we are already making plans to eventually meet. I actually have had much better luck with this site than other platonic apps/websites, i am really grateful to have met all of my close knit local friends from here,i am fairly active and still connecting with people on occasion. This site is really the one one that works.
I found my best friend on this site three years ago, actually I was lucky coz we match so well she is very kind and intelligent we spent so much times together and Vacations too I have met her family she met mines and we are all friends now. Thank You so much for helping me get a friend.
