How Much Does Girlfriend Social Cost?
Girlfriend Social Is Totally FreeThere is no cost. It will take you about 10 minutes to set up your profile, where you answer a few questions about yourself and your interests. "Don't wish to share" is always an option.
You are free to message, attend events, search profiles and participate in all areas of the site. There is no cost at all to you. GFS is run by volunteers and by advertising that you see on the website from companies who want you to be aware of their products or services. No credit card or any other financial information is needed from you at ANY time.
How can I close/delete my account?
You MUST login to delete/close your account. You can easily do this from the "settings menu" located in the top grey bar of the website once you are logged in.Since Girlfriend Social is free, even if there are not many members in your area yet, hundreds sign up every day. Your new good girl friend could sign up tomorrow. Leaving your free account open, allows your city to grow. Don't miss out on friendship because you closed down too quickly!If you would like to take a break from Girlfriend Social - Consider closing your account. This will make your account not viewable, searchable or accessed by anyone. You wont be able to match with new friends but you will not loose any friendships or other items you have done on the site.
How Do I Add A Photo?
You can easily upload a photo via this page. Click Here to Upload Your PhotoIf you are receiving an error you probably need to make the photo smaller. Check out the helpful video located on the page or ask a friend/family member to help you make the image smaller. (The Current photo size is 4MB)

I am Confused.. Where do I start?
Just signed up? Not Sure what to do? First thing. Take a breath! Signing up and creating the profile is the first step. Once you have created your profile, Feel free to look around on the site and click on things. You wont break anything. Many of you may be new to social networking so you need to allow yourself some time to be familiar with the terms and how things work. This is normal and part of the process of learning something new. Very shortly you will be able to navigate the site easily.GFS is a site for women to talk and meet with other women. Great! There are so many women on the site with so many different interests that we need lots of help with the organizing of events. If you have some extra time and have a specific interest like a book club, teach dance lessons, or just want to help out at the monthly get togethers perfect! What is Verified and how does it work?
Verified is a feature on the site that allows you to write a quick sentence or two about someone you've met off the website.
A simple "I met Sarah and she was really friendly" or "Susan and I had lunch and she laughs non stop! Ask her about travel!"Works well.
This feedback section is very important to how the site works and you should only use it for women than you have met in "real life" off the website.
What is a Verified Member and Why do I want to be One?
A verified member will be shown on the site with this special badge on their profile page.  This is a person who has met at least 5 other women off the website who have written a referral about her. Because anyone can sign on to the site and pretend to be anyone - Verified Members give you a little more security in that you are talking to who they say they are. Verified Members also get special features like ability to hold non-commercial(free) events, discounts at future official GFS events, blogging, sending gifts, personalizing of profiles and much more.
How can I report spam or other inappropriate content?
Sometimes you will receive a message or see a profile that is not in the values of the GFS website.You can report spam, pornography, or any other inappropriate content here, or by clicking the "Report" link on the page containing the content you wish to report.
