How do I meet other women?There are many different ways to meet women on Girlfriend Social. Here are a few suggestions:Search for women. You can search for women who live near you, women with children, women who share the same interests or face the same challenges - and more. Click the search box (located at the top of every page) and then search by name, location or ages. For more ways to search, click the "advanced search options". Once you find profiles of interesting women, you can view their profiles to learn more about them. RSVP and Attend a local event. Volunteer Event Reps hold local fun events where you can try and new hobby, class or just have some girl chat! These fun free events are a great way to meet a large group of women at once. So if you see one in your area - take a chance and RSVP yes!Get Chatting. Get an answer to any question about parenting, pregnancy, relationships, and more. The Discussion section lets other women give you advice on any topic. Is there a woman whose advice you like the most? Visit her profile to learn more about her and say Hi!Add a comment. If you read a GFS members profile that you enjoyed, see a photo that catches your attention or have some advice for the author of a discussion post, be sure to leave her a comment on her profile page. This is a public posting that anyone can read and it will appear on her public profile page. Everyone loves getting comments and it's a great way to start up a conversation.What should I do once I find a lady whom I'd like to know better?Send her a virtual coffee - A quick simple way to say "I stopped by your profile and Hi".Send her a private message - If you prefer to contact her privately, you can do so via the website. No need to expose your email address or contact info to strangers! Only you and the other woman will be able to read the message. To send a message, click the "Send a Message" link on her profile page (it's at the top right and very bottom of the site).Send her a friend invitation - Once she accepts your invite, she'll be added to your friends list and you'll be on hers. You'll then be able to see any posts or photos she's marked as Friends Only (and vice versa). You'll also be notified about things she does on Girlfriend Social in the Recent Activity Friends box on your homepage.How can I add or change information in my profile?Click on the "Edit your Profile" link on the upper left corner of your homepage. You can choose to share as much or as little about yourself as you'd like - you can always add or change your information later.Who can see what I post?To help you with your friendship search, your profile is viewable by all other registered members of Girlfriend Social. When you create a profile keep this in mind and remember to be smart about what you share - don't share personal details like your address, phone number, facebook account with someone you don't know.Remember that Comments are Public and Messages are private. Click the "Settings" link at the top of any page to check your privacy settings or to change your privacy settings at any time. What is Recent Activity on the Main Page?The recent activity section of the website shows the latest Girlfriend Social site activity from ALL members in your local area in the last month. See what other local ladies are up to and connect with them. Add someone to your friends list and their latest activity will be shown in the "friends" activity section of the site on the right side.How can I use Girlfriend Social to stay in touch with women friends I already know?If your friends aren't already part of Girlfriend Social, invite them to join you here.Once you're all on Girlfriend Social and you are all verified - you can create events for your group to attend and include some new ladies from the site too!
