Ladies Connection is a non-profit organization that supports and assists women going through post- partum depression. Approximately 15% of women experience postpartum depression after giving birth. Women battling postpartum depression usually will neglect themselves, their house, or even the baby. Even though there are ample resources outside of the home, there are no services that come into the home to help during this difficult time. Located in South Florida, Ladies Connection provides child care assistance (while parent is there) and light housekeeping help to women battling postpartum depression, and also helps them connect with other women in their community for guidance and support. Our services are free of charge to mothers who wouldn’t normally be able to afford them to support them on their journey to adjust to motherhood.
